Michael Stroka's voiceover: "When Harrison Collins found himself in the strange and dangerous world of parallel time in the year 1897, he had no idea what twists and turns his journey would take. In a bizarre act of fate, he has been thrown back into his own world, only in the year 1897 as well. Well aware of the events of that time from his friendship with that Quentin Collins, he contemplates his next actions, fully aware that anything he does may irrevocable alter his own world, as well as hurt those he tried to help in the other...."
In a replay of Friday's close, Harrison is standing in the empty PT room and we hear him think "This may be an opportunity...I sat in that room for hours at a time waiting to come back here... down in the basement in the old laboratory is a working crystal to replace this clouded one in my ring...with it I could return to that other Quentin at will.... I must get it." He leaves the room and carefully walks down the hall. It's dark and abandoned, with only some junk along the way. We hear Harrison thinking "If I am here, in my own world...this should be the year 1897 as well... that means depending on what day this is, any number of things could be happening here at Collinwood that would affect my own future...I will need to be extremely careful and discreet...no one here must see me...." He peeks out of a door from the east wing, and sees no one. He moves down a hallway. Next, we see him peek out the door to the main stairway in the foyer. There's no one there. "I'm in luck, this should take no time at all," we hear him think as he starts downstairs. He turns the corner towards the door under the stairs, but suddenly Charity/Pansy Faye comes out of the drawing room and calls to him in her cockney accent "'Ere! Who are you and what are you doin' here?" He freezes in his tracks and has no answer.
After the titles, Pansy repeats her question, and Harrison mumbles a bit before saying "I'm a servant. I just got hired." He turns to go through the door, but Charity grabs him arm and angrily says "No servants 'ave been 'ired 'ere, mate! This 'ouse has been in chaos for the last weeks! Miss Judith ain't 'ired no one!" He tries to break free, saying "Please Charity, let go! If you let me go about my business, you'll never see me again, I swear!" Stunned, she says "Why'd you do that? Why'd you just call me Charity? Everyone keeps calling me that, and my name is Pansy Faye! But who told you to call me Charity?" He only asks her to let go of him again. She grabs hold of his arm stronger and says "I've got second sight, I do...and you're a Collins! I can feel it! I can even see it in your eyes!" He says she's mistaken, but she grabs ahold of his other arm. "I'm seein' other things too...I can see other things when I take 'old of you...." He pleads "Listen, please. People are waiting for me. I must take care of my affairs here, I do not have time for this!" She wonders "How can you be a Collins when I've never seen you here before... you come from some place else....a room upstairs...an empty room....but sometimes it's not empty!" He is intrigued by her. Outside the house, Aristede is out of breath and in tatters. "I gotta find a place to hide," we hear him thinking. "Blackwood will get me sooner or later if I don't...." We hear chains rattling in the distance and hear Blackwood bellowing voice "Where is the criminal? The criminal must be punished!" Aristede runs around the side of the house. Inside, Pansy has led Harrison into the drawing room and says "You're trying to save someone, I can sense it... maybe I can help!" Harrison insists the only way for her to help is to "forget you ever saw me here." She suddenly says "That room! That room is the doorway to another world! A world like this one, only everyone is different... I can see the people there when I touch you...." Harrison looks her over wondering, but we see Aristede is by the window, listening in. Harrison takes a deep breath and says "Tell me what you see."
Pansy holds onto Harrison and tells him she can see what's happening in "that other world." Harrison asks her what she sees, and as she starts to describe it, we dissolve to Quentin standing in the parallel time room wondering where Harrison is. We hear Pansy say "I see Quentin....but it's not Quentin...it's some other Quentin from that other world...he's searching for you! And he can't find you...." Quentin calls for Harrison a couple of times and then we hear him thinking "This room...I saw it change before.... could that have something to do with this? Will the room change again? And does that mean he'll be back? He's got to come back....he was holding the true will in his hand!" Quentin leaves the room in frustration. Downstairs, Hess is pacing in the foyer as Quentin comes down the stairs. "So, have you found this other will yet, Quentin?" he says. Quentin tells him that "My cousin Harrison has it... and now I can't find him." Hess doesn't understand, and says "You went up together. Where could he be? He had no reason to take the will and run away." Quentin says he didn't run away. Hess asks Quentin if he thinks Harrison "met with foul play. After all, we haven't seen Mr. Trask around here..." Quentin says no, and "if I told you what I thought, you'd think me insane. Let's just postpone the reading of this will until I can straighten all this out." Hess tells Quentin that "you can go back into that drawing room and face your family then. I'll be in town if you need me." Quentin enters the drawing room as we dissolve back to Pansy and Harrison. "...they're all there waiting....I see Edward and Barnabas and Angelique....Aristede just left..." Harrison is confused and says "Barnabas and Angelique? How do you know them? And who is Aristede?" Pansy snaps out of her trance and looks at Harrison, wide eyed. "You're Harrison Collins! They're waiting for you in that other world, they need something you have!" Harrison nods and says "Yes, that is who I am and where I am from. A room in the east wing is a doorway through different worlds. You must not tell anyone about this!" Pansy smiles and says "Don't you worry, love, I like this world just fine!" Harrison says "Just as well, I need to get something from this world and then return to that one before...." Suddenly Aristede is standing in the drawing room with his knife out. "Before what, Mr. Collins? Before you can take me with you, back to that other world I heard the lady describe so well?" Aristede begins to laugh.
"Who are you and what are you babbling about?" Harrison says. Aristede introduces himself, and adds "I heard everything.... everything of Miss Pansy Faye's visions! You said there's a room upstairs in this house that's a doorway to another world, one like this one only with different people! I don't know what kind of sorcery you're talking about, but I could use such a world right about now. So, you get what you want from here and then you're going to take me to that room....or else you'll never get back there alive!" Pansy yells at Aristede that Quentin is going to kill him, Aristede says "I don't see Quentin here, do you?" and in that moment, Harrison grabs the fencing foil off the wall. He waves it at Aristede who backs into the foyer. "Aristede.... that name rings a bell...." Harrison says. Aristede waves the knife a little as he backs up. "How do you know me? I don't know who you are!" Aristede says. We hear Harrison think "Quentin told me of an Aristede from this time...a dangerous man who was killed by the ghost of his jailer...there was something else about him though....something much more dangerous..." Harrison waves the foil at Aristede and demands that he leave Collinwood. Aristede says he "must find that room." He tries to run up the stairs, but Harrison slashes at his arm, knocking the knife loose. Harrison comes at him with the foil, and Aristede runs outside. Harrison tells Pansy to "make sure the doors stay locked. I want to make sure he's gone." Harrison runs outside as Pansy closes the door, but as he looks around, Aristede sneaks up behind him and wraps a rope around his neck.
Harrison struggles as Aristede demands "Show me that room! I must see that room!" Harrison, struggling for breath, manages to say "Kill me and you'll never get there.... you can't go into that other world without me!" Aristede throws Harrison to the ground and says "You'd better not be lying to me." Harrison catches his breath and says "I'm telling the truth. You'll never find the room without me, and you won't be able to enter the other timeband without me. You'll just sit in an empty room until your jailer's ghost catches up with you." Shocked, Aristede says "How do you know about Garth Blackwood? Who told you?" Harrison rubs his neck and says "Wouldn't you like to know...." Aristede gets angry and says "It's a trick! It's all been a trick! There is no parallel world inside of an upstairs room at Collinwood! You're just trying to trick me! You must be working with...." but before he can finish the sentence, the sounds of rattling chains begin again. Aristede gets very frightened and yells "No! NO! Make that horrible sound stop! Make it stop!" He runs off. Harrison gets up and starts to head back towards Collinwood when suddenly, he is struck on the head from behind by an unseen foe. He passes out. We dissolve to Harrison coming to, lying on a familiar couch (with an all too familiar blanket, I suppose!). Harrison looks around and says "What happened? Where am I?" Standing over him is Charles Delaware Tate (Roger Davis), who says "You're in my studio. After what I heard you and Aristede talking about, I knew I had to bring you here." Harrison asks "Here? Where is here? And who are you?" Tate answers "I am Charles Delaware Tate." Harrison, still a bit woozy, says "Charles Delaware Tate...the painter? The portrait.... Tate painted the portrait...." Tate answers "You've heard of me? How could that be? You told Aristede you were from some other world, just like this one but with different people. I've been following him, Mr. Collins. Everything he heard you and Charity Trask discussing I heard too. I want to know more about that world." Harrison sits up and says "I don't know what you're talking about." Suddenly from behind him comes another familiar voice - "Perhaps I can refresh your memory of this other world, a world which I must admit I am growing more and more interested in learning about." Harrison turns around and sees who is talking - "Let me introduce myself, my boy. I am Count Petofi."
